From a dealership accounting office to her own firm
Candice found accounting the way a lot of good accountants do: on the job. Working in the accounting department of a car dealership, she discovered she loved the work, and decided to make it her career.
She went back to school and earned a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Financial Management, then an MBA in Financial Management and HR. In 2013 she began her career in public accounting, and she has spent the years since helping small business owners and families get their finances organized and keep them that way.
Clients know her for patient explanations, steady communication and a genuine interest in seeing their businesses grow. She'd rather take the time to walk you through your numbers than hand you a return you don't understand.
Today, as President of Bennette Accounting and Tax Services, she handles bookkeeping, payroll in all 50 states, sales tax and tax preparation for clients across industries, from medical practices and construction companies to restaurants and nonprofits. A Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, she also teaches clients to run QuickBooks Online and Desktop with confidence.
Clients meet with her at the office in Apopka or work with her remotely from anywhere in the country.
